You're saying I'll be able to dodge bullets?

So the movie's not out in the UK 'til next week, but the "Enter the Matrix" game is. Quick initial assessment: many annoying flaws, but redeemed by Matrix fighting system. You can run up a wall and kick an enemy in the face. You can cartwheel while shooting a machine gun in slow motion. You can dodge bullets! At the very least it delivers on this.

The game's extras section has a "hacking" interface, which asks you to master a DOS-like command-line interface (Nmap aparently not available) in order to unlock the goodies. It's not really fun. If you consider it fun, buy a second-hand PC and install debian - pleasure-explosion, I'm sure. Knock, knock, Neo - Trinity is attempting a terminal chat.

The reason I mention it now is that one of the files you access seems to imply cheat codes may be obtained via www.danielinstitute.com. Visit it today, and it just leads to a domain registrar holding page. I don't think it's a squatter: the whois details, spartan though they are, seem to include the US address of Infrogrames (now Atari).

It just looks like they forgot about it (the other mentioned domain www.omegahardwaresolutions.com at least has a "BUSINESS TERMINATED" graphic). So much for an A.I.-style alter-web.
