Little blue packets
I noticed today that retro-retro crisps concept “Salt and Shake” has returned. Originally Smiths, now a brand of Walkers which itself has become just the Brit-friendly brandname for the multinational (and therefore suspect) Pepsico Corporation’s FritoLay.
For me this removes the quaint aspect from products largely fuelled by nostalgia. It’s a bit like finding out those Tunnock’s Caramel Wafers are actually made by Mars or something.
